We handle incoming requests from third-parties, so you don’t have to. Using your tracking system or ours, we log and track third-party requests and verify that the authorization and subsequent release is compliant with all applicable state and federal laws. We retrieve the patient record (from multiple sources and formats, if needed) and identify only the information needed to fulfill the request. When necessary, we request additional authorization from the patient. We review every page of the patient file for sensitive information and make sure that only allowed information is released. We then print pages from electronic medical records and/or copy or scan paper records. We provide all needed equipment (copiers, document imagers, etc.) and associated paper, toner and office supplies. If secure electronic transmission of the file is needed, we can provide that as well. We package and send all requests. We handle all invoicing, fee collection and payment processing. All of this at no cost whatsoever to you.
